LOCAL RULES
- This nine-hole course can sometimes be very busy, and players should always be aware of their position on the course. If you get into difficulty or fall more than one hole behind the game in front, let the game behind play through. This will allow the course to move at a pace suitable for all abilities.
- In the interest of safety, no children under 8 are allowed on the course. Those aged 8–10 should be accompanied by an adult.
- No dogs are allowed on the course.
- Players must report to the attendant at the pavilion, if open, before starting play, then proceed to the 1st tee via the car park.
- Each player must have their own golf bag and clubs.
- Four players maximum in any game.
- Trolleys must not be placed on the greens or tees.
- No practising allowed on the course.
- Juniors may play from whichever tee best suits their ability
- Ladies may play from red or yellow tees.
- Yellow tees are for gentlemen.
- White tees can be used for club competitions or for gentlemen entering a general play score for handicap.
- General play score for handicap can be played from red or yellow for ladies and yellow or white for gentlemen.
- Please replace your divots.
- Please repair any pitch marks on greens, even if they are not your own.
- Please rake bunkers before you leave them.
- If your golf ball comes to rest on the wrong green, it must be dropped at the nearest point of relief no nearer the hole you are playing to for no penalty.
- The fenced off tree plantation to the right of the third hole is Out of Bounds.
- A ball coming to rest on or over the road running through the course is Out of Bounds.
- On the sixth hole, to avoid confusion and speed up play, any ball crossing the boundary of the penalty area marked by red stakes should be treated as being in the penalty area. If you find your ball in the penalty area and still within the course boundary then you may play it as it lies for no penalty, you may drop it where it crossed the boundary area of the penalty area for a penalty of 1 stroke, or you may play from where you last hit the ball for penalty of 1 stroke. If you do not find your ball in the penalty area and within the boundary of the course then you may drop it where it crossed the boundary area of the penalty area for a penalty of 1 stroke, or you may play from where you last hit the ball for penalty of 1 stroke.
- Shrub border through the ninth/eighteenth green – free drop
- Wednesday nights are reserved exclusively for Auchenblae Golf Club members. You are kindly requested to leave the course by 5.00pm if not playing in the club competition.
- Should you have any problems or need assistance please bring it to the Golf Course attendant in the Pavilion.
COURSE ACCESS & BOOKING
- Tee times are available at 10-minute intervals.
- Tee times must be booked in advance using the BRS app.
- If you want to play 18 holes you must book two tee times. You must stick to the booked tee times. If you finish early or late you need to book another tee time to suit.
- Your Tee time is the time you start from the 1st – please be ready so you do not hold up other golfers.
- Play may only commence from the 1st tee.
- If you are late then you need to book another time, late starting is not permitted.
